Needed update

Wed Oct 14, 2009, 6:08 AM
Ok so some new shit has been goin down lately.

Like I said before I've been playing the PC version of GTA3, and I must admit i much prefer the pc version to the PS2 one, this has always been one of my favorite games and I'm glad to be playing it again, I've also been using several skin mods in the game, to say turn the cars into actual models of cars, put actual stores in the city and change my character to either SS3 Goku or Cloud Strife, yeah it's been fun

I also now have Final Fantasy VII on my computer and that's been fun despite some minor setbacks like having to replay the OH NO PRESIDENT SHINRA IS DEAD cutscene like a million times and still being stuck between catching the elusive chocobo or fighting the giant snake monster. But I like the game. I wouldn't have payed 70 bucks for it like some people would but it's a fun game.

Been reading a comic book called "Project Superpowers" it's co-written and partially illustrated by Alex Ross and I must say I did not know he wrote comics but I'm glad he does. It's an interesting story about WW2 superheroes suddenly appearing in modern times after being lost for almost 60 years. It's really well written and the guy who does most of the art is really tallented. If they come out with a vol. 2 I'll be sure to buy it.

Classes are going well, I've applied to OSU for Winter Quarter now I'm just waiting on a few transcripts to be sent so they can process my request. Hopefully I'll be out of CSCC soon.

Went to a customer service seminar at work yesterday. I had to sit in a room for 4 hours discussing things I already know how to do. It blew chunks. I'm great at customer service, granted most of my coworkers aren't but that's not what pissed me off. What pissed me off was not that they wanted us to give great customer service, but that they wanted us to want to give great customer service. I mean I make 8.50 an hour which is pretty good for a cashier, still I'm not payed enough to give a damn, I give great customer service because I don't want to be fired and want to be a good employee. When someone is excited about the new work uniforms because he gets to wear a hat that makes it easier not to look at people there's not much chance that he's gonna give great service because he cares about the customers. The way I figure it so long as the job gets done and gets done well, who cares about the motivations behind it?

Don't let that last paragraph fool you, I am in especially good spirits. For the first time in a long while I am actually happy. I've actually met someone who right now is just a friend but there is definately potential there. I can't believe I'm actually excited to go to class for a change. Sure I'm broke and my parents still give me headaches (just today they yelled at me for being out late even though I was up and out the door on time) but I actually feel good, like there's less pressure upon me. I have friends, a job, freetime, and who knows what else is in store for me. I feel good, and I hope it stays that way.

Been playing Superhero City on facebook, if you are at all into facebook games I reccomend this one. it's a lot of fun. I've been playing more games since cancelling my WoW account, I guess it's easier to enjoy free games when you aren't sinking 15 a month into one that costs actual money

Also New Heroclix set comes out November 18th YAY!!!!!
